Encaustic picture

After Margaret's birthday celebrations, Princess Gaye showed us how to make encaustic pictures, she has been experimenting with encaustics recently and has created some lovely art pieces. I created the below piece, it was fun and I am definitely will be making more soon.

Cards and evelopes

I am still having fun making envelopes for cards of various sizes which are hard to match with conventional envelopes. I use various recycled paper and my sewing machine.

This card is based on a design by my friend Celeste, we have been "playing" on Sunday:

Playing with folk images

My sister has recently sent me these lovely folk images. I created 3 cards with them which can be seen below.

Stampin Up fun with Jane

Just after Easter I traveled to the Gold Coast to do a card class with Jane Norrish who is a Stampin Up Demostrator. It was fun and we made 4 "man" cards.
