Yesterday I attended a full day work seminar. It was very interesting but I usually become restless after a while so I began to doodle. I still listened.....
We still have a traditon of sending Easter cards in Poland. Consequently I had to make 16 cards to send to my family and friends over there. Given that I left it late, cards had to be quick.
While at Hervey Bay for work, I managed to do some shopping and bought this cute picture frame for hanging birds from the art sisters' swap. Now I have to make a bird picture to go with the frame.
I made this quick birthday card for our 12 year old nephew James whose birthday is today. I used a free postcard and decorated it with a dictionary page and some washi tape. James really liked the card and he said: "this is best card ever" when he opened it. He is a lovely boy. Before:
I started to fulfill one of my New Year resolutions of making an art journal. I am using an old typing book for this purpose. So far I've done the two following pages:
When Celeste visited recently, we followed a wonderful YouTube tutorial Creatively Inspired with ChristyTomlinson & Julie Balzer which was loads of fun. The amazing thing is that even though we both followed the instructions, our creations were so different to ChristyTomlinson's and to each other's.
I love my washi tape which I have been "collecting" for a while now. Recently I bought this box at IKEA which turned out to be perfect for the washi rolls, the only problem is that I need one more box to fit all the tape I have, LOL.
