ATC exchange

Our small international swap group has changed this year, Guriana from Poland has left us but we were joined by Debbie from US.  This year we make a set of three ATCs for one person at a time and we need to make a holder for the ATCs.  Each time we have a theme selected by one person, everyone will select a theme once.  This month the theme was selected by Celeste and it was "Wings".  My partner this month was Margaret and below are my creations for her.

Birthday cards

I have been absent for a while and now trying to catch up.  Below are some birthday cards I created for family and friends.

This card was made for our 10 year old neighbour Hasti for her birthday. She visits us regularly to play with our dogs hence the card had to be with the dogs.  Hasti loved it.

My friend Celeste turned 50 this year.  Ga ye , Margaret and I made some ATC for her - 3 each, and the theme was 50 and blue.  I used some coloured texture paste to make the backgrounds which were also painted with watercolours.

The 9 ATCs which we made were packaged to this small holder which I decorated with some washi tape:

My sister Beata also turned 50 this year and I made her this card with a vintage camera stamp from Papertrey Ink, the lower picture shows the flap with her photo pulled down.

Altered Art Mixed Media - January

After the tag challenge came to the end last month, I signed up for another one through a Polish blog.  It is an altered art mixed media challenge where every month we will receive instructions as to what we need to alter.  This month if was a round container which we had to decorate using pastel colours.  I chose to alter an old tea can which I plan to use for storing some small stuff.

This is the tin I created:

December Tag - frosty but not Christmasy

This is the last tag in the 2013 tag challenge, I hope there will be Tags 2014 edition as I really enjoyed it this year.

For December we needed to create a frosty, but not Christmasy tag.  It needed to have a winter theme, any colours but it had to feel cold and frosty.  It was important not to add Christmas elements.

This task was hard, especially that now in Australia we have summer and it is very, very hot.  Also, I don't have any wintery elements to use but I hope I managed to fulfil the requirements.

As usual, you can check tags of other participants here or visit my neighours Marysia i Basienka
